In preparation for the release of their new album this month, I’m re-visiting Phoenix’s last album released in back in 2009, and definitely still a goodie. If you haven’t listened to it yet, you’re missing out. Who could forget the ever-so catchy summer of ‘09 track Lisztomania ? It’s the perfect album to be cruising to on a summer mid-afternoon. This rock/synth-pop band are from France showcasing their talents in an energetic, fun, addictive, and sing-along worthy album. Check out one of my favourite songs: Fences.

Last night: half off bottles of wine and b mars ice cream cake. I have never seen anyone react with such excitement towards a cake before. But then again, if I saw Ryan Gosling on mine, I would probably be a little excited too.
